Chemical anchoring in constructions is made usually with epoxy or vinylester or polyester resins in cartridges.

Epoxy anchoring is used for the most critical cases e.g. :

- flooded concrete substrates

- cracked concrete

- heavy loads

- when seismic resistance is demanded

- for high durability etc.

Polyester resins on the other hand are more versatile and used for less critical cases.

The philosophy of application is the same:

- drilling a hole of suitable diameter

- calculate the necessary embedment depth

- clean thoroughly the borehole

- inject the adhesive

- place the anchor

- load it after the curing time
