Self-adhesive bitumen tapes with aluminium foil give a quick and efficient answer to leaks on flat and sloped roofs.

Peel-and-stick, easy to use from the general public.

For porous surfaces an elastomeric, solvent based, bituminous primer is recommended.

Application areas

- seams, cracks and flashings in flat roofs and inclined roofs.

- round roof windows, canopies, antennas etc.

- repair of gutters and pipes etc.

The bituminous mass is elastomeric and very sticky. It is pressed well on the prepared substrate with a roll or with the hand.

Air temperature during application should not be less than 7 degrees Celsius.

Main widths: 5-10-15-20-30-60-100cm.

Fibatape tapes are self-adhesive and made from fiberglass mesh.

There are versions suitable for both plasterboards and cementboards.

Special characteristics

- high reinforcement performance

- quicker job due to the high initial adhesion

- avoiding of blisters

- easily applied

- suitable for differently edged plasterboards.

Drywall joints reinforced with Fibatape show better mechanical characteristics and better capacity to absorb eventual vibrations.

Normally sold in rolls of 48mm x 20m and 48mm x 90m.
