Our membranes for roofs are made from PVC-P and are reinforced wish a strong polyester grid.

Main thicknesses: 1,2 - 1,5 - 1,8 - 2mm.

Main width: 2,05m and lengths according to the thickness.

Strong advantages / main characteristics

- one ply waterproofing more proofed through time than TPO and EPDM

- resistant to ageing

- excellent behaviour to UV

- very good mechanical characteristics

- easy and reliable welding.

Suitable for new roofs or refurbishments and various substrates, they are laid and fixed with the proper fasteners.

SBS and APP modified asphalt membranes are maybe the best value solution for flat roof waterproofing.

More reliable than liquid waterproofing, less expensive and complicated than single ply membrane waterproofing.


SBS membranes are more flexible than APP and thus more suitable for bigger roofs and places with low temperatures.

APP membranes of good quality are maybe preferable for the warm climates of Greece and Cyprus.


Things to take into consideration with bituminous / asphalt membranes:

- weight / m2

-  cold flexibility

- reinforcement / mechanical characteristics

- exposed surface.

Heavier and more elastic bituminous membranes are more dependable. 

Also a spunbond polyester reinforcement is better than a short fiber one.

Aluminium faced asphalt membranes are better suited for upstands and detailing.

These tapes have numerous other names e.g. :

- flashing tapes

- asphalt or bituminous bands

Adeflex bitumen tapes come to various widths with more usual: 5 - 10 - 15 -20 - 30 - 60 - 100cm.

They are made with a bituminous elastomeric / SBS compound and are faced with an aluminium-polyethylene, strong film which imparts them their strong mechanical characteristics.

They are self-adhesive,that's why they are called peel-and-stick. 
Just remove the silicone paper and press with no flame needed.
A primer is obligatory for porous substrates

SBS vs APP modified asphalt membranes

SBS membranes are more elastic and thus more suitable for bigger roofs. They also exhibit  a better behaviour at lower temperatures.

APP membranes are more apt for warmer climates.


Things to check in asphalt membranes:

- weight / m2

- asphalt mass cold flexibility

- type and weight of reinforcement

- type of self-protection layer

Heavier and more elastic asphalt membranes are obviously more reliable. 

Also, a heavy, spunbond polyester reinforcement is better than a fiberglass reinforcement with minimal mechanical resistance and elongation characteristics.

Aluminium faced asphalt membranes are better suited for upstands and detailing.
